Hot Rod's Creole Garlic Butter Biscuit Recipe

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Makes: 12-16 mini-biscuits (baked in a mini-muffin pan), about 8 regular sized biscuits

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)

  • 2 teaspoons Hot Rod's Creole Gaw-lic Buttah

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. While your oven is preheating, add your dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, sugar, Hot Rod’s Creole Garlic Butter) into a large mixing bowl and stir to combine.

  3. Melt the butter in a microwave-safe dish for about 1 minute or until melted.

  4. Pour the milk and melted butter into the bowl with your dry ingredients. Stir to combine until the mixture is moist; be careful not to over-mix the batter. Finally, fold in the shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Drop about a 1/4 cup of dough for each biscuit onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and brush with 2 tablespoons of melted butter.

  6. Place the baking sheet onto the center rack of your preheated oven and bake for 10-14 minutes or until they are golden.

  7. Let cool for 5 minutes, and enjoy!
